Triumph started its foray into the U.S. market cautiously with its SX 250 team, but for 2025, they aren’t playing games! The English manufacturer is now competing with four Triumph TF 250-X, and that’s not all: the team has been reinforced with stars like Austin Forkner, Jordon Smith, and Stilez Robertson, who join loyal Jalek Swoll. Each of them will compete to represent Triumph on both coasts of the United States, with the clear aim of rehabilitating British prestige on American soil. Triumph is committed to challenging the best of American motocross and, who knows, perhaps achieve a quick victory. The project for the 450 is still brewing, but it’s already on its way!
A strengthened team for 2025
In 2025, Triumph USA strengthens its team with four TF 250-X on the line for competition and strategic presence on both sides of the country. This season, the team is renewed with a true sense of cohesion and determination as its riders face this new chapter.
Jalek Swoll: the loyal and veteran rider
We start with Jalek Swoll, the veteran who proved his worth in 2024. This guy has fought fiercely for Triumph this season, achieving a podium in Unadilla and a strong eighth place in the East Coast championship. At 24 years old and with six professional seasons under his belt, Jalek has a simple mission: to finally secure his first victory with his Triumph bike.
Jalek Swoll comments: “I’m excited for my second season with Triumph Factory Racing. The plan is to reach new goals and achieve my first victory with the team.”

Jordon Smith: the experienced one of the group
With the addition of Jordon Smith, Triumph bets on solidity. This rider comes from two years of good and loyal service with Yamaha Star Racing Monster, where he shone with a victory in San Francisco and a fourth place on the east coast in 2023. Experience, speed, and a steel mentality, Smith has the perfect profile to give Triumph its first success in SX.
Jordon Smith states: “I’ve already gotten on the bike and I feel very good. These last few years have been good for me. I feel capable of competing for the victory in SX.”

Stilez Robertson: a final opportunity to shine
Robertson is the raw talent, hindered by recurring injuries. He has already shown great things with podiums in Daytona (2021, 2022) and Anaheim in 2023. At Triumph, he hopes to finally show all his potential without setbacks.

Austin Forkner: the renewed at 26
The last to join the Triumph team is Austin Forkner, a true pure talent, but he also has had his share of physical problems. After a complete run with Kawasaki PC Monster, he joins Triumph at 26 years old with 13 finals under his belt and a huge desire to relaunch his career.
Austin Forkner says: “It’s a real pleasure to join Triumph. I’ll do everything I can to be the rider who brings the brand its first success in the USA.”
With unwavering motivation, Forkner could surprise everyone. It remains to be seen if he can maintain consistent performance.
Triumph’s goals in 2025: WIN, WIN, WIN!
So, what are Triumph’s goals this season? Simple: to win, win, and win again. The team aims for the podium and wants to make history on American soil. This season they have the resources and motivated riders. For now, Triumph is focusing on the SX 250, but there’s already a 450 project in preparation.
In a few years, we could see Triumph dominating this category too. For now, they are honing their skills in Europe with riders like Camden McLellan and Guillem Farres. Triumph knows where it is headed, and in a world where improvisation can be costly, that is a huge asset.
