Moto Morini X-Cape 700 2025: A more eco-friendly and powerful trail with Euro5+ standards!

moto morini x cape 700 2025 una trail mas eco y potente con la norma euro5

The trails are somewhat the perfect balance between a road motorcycle and an adventure one. This year, Moto Morini has launched its X-Cape 700 model. The 650 version bids farewell to make way for a more generous displacement, which is a great move. A bit more power, a design faithful to the original with certain improvements and outstanding equipment: all to delight motorcyclists in search of adventure and versatility. Will this X-Cape 700 be the ideal bike for those with an A2 license eager for excitement? Let’s see!

An increase in displacement that delights

Moto Morini has decided to raise its ambitions for 2025. Instead of sticking with the X-Cape 650, they have moved on to the X-Cape 700, and it shows. The engine with two cylinders in line has increased from 649 cm3 to 693 cm3. An increase of 4 mm in the piston stroke gives new life to this machine. What’s the result? The power rises to 71 horsepower (up from 60 previously) and the torque reaches 68 Nm. More smoothness, more response, especially at low RPMs. That’s what motorcyclists are looking for: a bike that responds with every throttle, dominating the asphalt or the trails without needing to push.

The design: the new and the old

The X-Cape 700 does not embark on an aesthetic revolution; it retains its dynamic style and the typical lines of the brand. However, it has some smart adjustments: a change in the front, more modern engine guards, and a slightly modified rear structure. The exhaust is now more imposing, making its presence felt. And for those who like to travel in comfort, the windscreen has been improved to offer better protection against the wind. Undoubtedly, this machine is visually appealing and practical. It features a 7-inch TFT display with connected navigation, full LED illumination to light up the night, two USB ports (A and C), and a disconnectable Bosch 9.1 Mb ABS to ensure a safe ride.

The practical aspect and performance of the cycle

Regarding the cycle, Moto Morini does not make a revolution but maintains what works. The steel chassis, the aluminum swingarm, remain unchanged. The difference is made by components such as the adjustable Marzocchi upside-down fork (50 mm, with 175 mm travel) and the adjustable Kayaba shock (with 165 mm of travel). For the brakes, they are solid with a double Brembo disc of 298 mm at the front and a single disc of 255 mm at the rear. It’s simple, but effective! As for the tires, we chose the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR, perfect for riding both on and off the road. Whether rolling on asphalt or exploring some mountain trails, the X-Cape 700 has everything needed to adapt.
