Moto Guzzi V7 Sport 2025: the return of a legend!

moto guzzi v7 sport 2025 el regreso de una leyenda

Moto Guzzi made an impact again at the EICMA show in Milan by presenting the new V7 Sport 2025. This iconic model from the 70s returns with a makeover that respects its original essence. Between nostalgia and modernity, let’s explore what this renewed legend has under the tank.

A tribute to the 70s with an aggressive touch

When mentioning the V7 Sport, we immediately evoke that distinguished silhouette that left a mark. Moto Guzzi knows this well and presents us with a 2025 version that celebrates a retro-modern attitude. With its vibrant fluorescent green and sleek lines, this V7 Sport does not go unnoticed. It is a clear nod to its illustrious predecessor, while simultaneously adopting a more dynamic and sharp look.

An engine with personality for an authentic experience

Under the tank, we find the legendary 90° transverse V-twin, air-cooled. Certified Euro5+, it now offers 67.3 horsepower at 6,900 rpm and 79 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. Designed to provide riding pleasure rather than pure power, this engine vibrates with just the right character, producing a sound that gives you chills.

A modern set-up but without excess

Despite fears of a bike being too bland, Moto Guzzi has found the perfect balance. The V7 Sport 2025 features a Ride by Wire throttle and a six-axis IMU inertial unit, with three riding modes: Road, Rain, and Sport. Special mention goes to the Sport mode, which unleashes the bike’s full potential, providing a more direct throttle response. Add to this a cruise control, full LED lighting, and mirrors at the end of the handlebars, resulting in an attractive mix of classicism and modernity.

To support this slight increase in power, Moto Guzzi has equipped the V7 Sport with an upside-down fork and a dual front disc with Brembo radial calipers. A winning combo that promises powerful braking and better stability, especially in sport mode. The chassis remains typical of neo-retro roadsters, but with the precision necessary for safe and thrilling riding.

A price that might be a bit high

Moto Guzzi has not yet revealed the official price, but it is likely that this V7 Sport will exceed 10,500 euros. A figure that may seem high for a bike that advocates simplicity, but is still reasonable considering the appeal and equipment offered.
