Mash GT 750 Jedi Motor: the GT that makes the competition tremble arrives in France!

mash gt 750 jedi motor la gt que hace temblar a la competencia llega a francia

It’s official! The Mash GT 750 Jedi Motor is finally arriving in our country, and it’s no joke! Seen at the Mash stand at the Sima in Lyon, this machine will arrive before summer, if all goes well. Its price? 11,990 €. A reasonable sum for a GT that visually resembles the BMW R1200RT. Perhaps its name sounds familiar, and for good reason: in China, it’s called Jedi Motor KR 750, and in Spain, it runs under the brand Mitt GT. Anyway, it has already done its tour before landing here under the Mash brand, determined to revitalize its lineup with something big.

An imposing look and honest equipment

Upon looking at it, the Mash GT 750 makes it clear that it plays in the big leagues. Its imposing fairing is designed to offer optimal protection. The equipment is quite complete:

  • 12.3-inch TFT instrument panel
  • Two USB ports and a 12V socket
  • Electric windshield
  • Central console in Gold Wing style

It would seem that we are looking at a high-end GT. However, upon closer inspection, some shortcomings are noticeable: it has no engine modes, no quickshifter, and no traction control. Oh, and the detail that stands out: a chain transmission instead of a shaft drive. It’s not the most practical for maintenance…

Engine: robust but without extravagance

Under the fairing, we find a well-known engine: a twin-cylinder inspired by the old Kawasaki ER-6N and Versys 650. This block delivers 74.8 hp for a weight of 275 kg. Is it enough for a GT? For a machine focused on comfort and rides, it’s fine, but it falls short of the standards of modern long-distance touring bikes. Moreover, the engine lacks ride by wire and inertial central. In summary, it’s a bit of old-school technology, but perhaps that’s a positive for those who prefer simple and reliable mechanics.

Comfort: some pros and cons

For a GT, comfort is paramount. The seat, although wide, is quite firm. The seat height of 780 mm allows for easy access, but the fold of the legs is quite pronounced, which could be tiring on long trips. Ideally, it would need a slightly taller seat and some work on ergonomics to avoid that compression feeling. Another detail: no center stand on the model presented, an oversight that could be inconvenient for chain maintenance. In contrast, the side protections are very large, so much so that they could accommodate sirens or additional lights. In the city, these extensions could be bothersome when maneuvering between lanes. We hope that a more refined version will be offered.
