Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST 2025: the motorcycle that is going to surprise you!

Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST 2025: ¡la moto que te va a sorprender!

Harley-Davidson and sportiness have had a complicated relationship. Let’s be honest, the bikes from Milwaukee are designed more for cruising than for tackling tight curves. But with the Pan America 1250 ST, Harley is going all in: transforming its trail into a machine made for the road and sporty handling. An American recipe that clearly looks towards Europe… and Ducati in particular.

A redesigned chassis for greater sportiness

The big news is the addition of a 17-inch front wheel, instead of the original 19. Combined with a well-gripping Michelin Scorcher Sport tire, this change alters everything: more reactivity, more precision, and a riding position that invites aggression. The Showa suspensions have also been tweaked, reducing the travel to 170 mm (down from 190 mm in the standard version), thus lowering the center of gravity to offer more stability on the road.

As for brakes, Harley relies on Brembo with 4-piston radial calipers biting 320 mm discs up front. The rear is equipped with a 280 mm disc and a single caliper. With a weight of 246 kg, this bike can stop on a dime without a problem!

An engine that delivers pure power

Under the hood, we find the Revolution Max 1250 V-Twin with 1,250 cm3 of water cooling that delivers 150 hp at 9,000 rpm and 127 Nm at 6,750 rpm. An engine with character that resembles more what the European competition offers than the traditional robust twins from Harley. To reinforce the sporty spirit, the manufacturer has worked on the exhaust, removing the intermediate chamber and integrating a Quickshifter Screamin’ Eagle for clutchless shifting. It’s serious business!

An appearance that continues to divide opinions

Visually, this Pan America 1250 ST maintains its own style. You either love it or hate it, but it’s hard to be indifferent to this big cubic with a robot head. For its ST version, Harley has made some adjustments: a shorter smoked windscreen, a front fender to match the new wheels, and a monoblock seat. The center stand and the protective bars have also been removed to lighten the machine a bit. As for the colors? It comes standard in Billiard Gray, but if you want black or red, you’ll have to pay an extra $450. A bit stingy, Harley…

A Pan America made for the road

With all these changes, this Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST is no longer a trail. This is not about off-roading; we are facing a machine built for the road. And that is precisely Harley’s idea: to steal market share from the Ducati Multistrada and other sporty road trails. The technological equipment remains present with a 6.8-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth compatibility for smartphones, and navigation through the Harley-Davidson app. No surprises for those who love onboard technology.
