¿A Pokémon motorcycle in real life? Honda reveals a bike inspired by Koraidon!

Friends, we are in 2025 and Honda has just unveiled a totally crazy machine. Imagine a motorcycle that is not just a bike, but a creature inspired by the universe of Pokémon. That’s right, you read that correctly. Honda, in collaboration with Game Freak, has launched the Koraidon bike, the star Pokémon of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. A two-wheeled vehicle like no other, capable of both walking and rolling. Incredible!
A design that honors Koraidon
If you are a fan of Pokémon, you will immediately understand where Honda was going with this bike. Koraidon is that impressive reptile that could transform into a vehicle in Pokémon Scarlet. And Honda decided to make a real version, taking back its shapes, its stature, and even its posture.
When we look at the images, we realize that this bike has a unique morphology. The body extends downwards, the handlebars are almost nonexistent, and there are no instruments or license plates in sight. As for road approval, that will be a challenge…
A concept that rolls and walks?
The craziest part of this story is that Honda promises us a bike that not only rolls. It can also walk! Yes, walk, just like in the game. Honda would have utilized its self-balancing technology (developed for its ASIMO robots) to allow the Honda Koraidon to stand upright, walk, and return to its wheels. Imagine a mix between a motorcycle and a living robot…
We still don’t know if it will be a demo mode for exhibitions or a real model capable of being marketed, but the idea is captivating.
A bike for fans or a vehicle of the future?
Clearly, Honda is making a strong bet on fan service with this machine. Among nostalgic Pokémon fans and motorcycle enthusiasts, there is a real market to exploit. But it remains to be seen whether this bike will be sold or if it is just a huge publicity stunt.
If it goes on sale, it could be expensive! We are talking about innovative technology, a completely customized design, and an ultra-exclusive machine. It won’t be cheap… But if Honda releases it in very limited edition, some fans will be willing to spend a fortune to have it in their garage.
We will have more information on March 7, 2025
